AAETS 2019 Call for Papers Open
The Halldale Group, publisher of CAT magazine is now accepting presentation abstracts for the Asian Aviation Education & Training Symposium (AAETS) 2019 which will be taking place in Seoul, South Korea on 25-26 June 2019. A limited number of speaker slots are available.
AAETS 2019 will provide a forum to discuss the best practical applications and future developments in aviation training and technology in a Korean, regional and global context. Aviation training must advance to match the new demands of commercial operations. The challenge is to blend lessons learnt with the use of the best of new technology and techniques.
The conference will be focusing specifically on an in-depth coverage of two major industry training disciplines in order to identify current best practice:
• Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL)
• Maintenance Training
Presentation proposals are invited to cover:
Multi-Crew Pilot Licence
– Current and future regulation
– Practical syllabi – lessons learnt and improvements
– Preferred training equipment/platforms
– Seamless introduction of graduates into airline operation
– Actual measured online performance of graduates
– What is the ROI?
– Human factors
– SMS in maintenance training
– Non technical topics for maintenance training
Presentations on other relevant subjects within these disciplines will also be considered.
Each session in the conference will be followed by a workshop discussion on that session’s topics, so presentations should be designed as a lead-in to the subsequent workshop and be 15 minutes maximum in length. If using a slide-based presentation, these should be limited to a maximum of 20 slides.
To propose a presentation for either of the AAETS conference streams, please send a maximum 300 word abstract before 31st October 2018.
Submissions should include:
– The working title of the presentation
– Your full job title and email address
– Up to 300 word abstract
– A short biography of the speaker and conference presentation experience
Please title your email “AAETS 2019 ABSTRACT” and submit to Chris Long, Conference Chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Copy should also be sent to Fiona Greenyer, Conference Coordinator, at email@example.com. Authors of accepted speaker proposals will be notified by mid-November.
AAETS is an “Applied” conference and while full academic papers are not appropriate, we will consider summaries of appropriate aviation training and education research projects.
Preference will be given to air carriers and training organisations with real world training insights, “Lessons Learned” and training “solutions and outcomes” information. In no case will sales presentations be accepted.
